[SSC-CGL-2014] Commission changes Age limit for CBI, Enforcement officer, State Investigator; Edu qualification for Stat investigator and Job classification for CBI

This is an old news, but incase anyone is still in the dark- please know that SSC has made some changes in earlier notification of Combined Graduate level (CGL) 2014’s exam

CONTENT

#1: last date to apply Changed
#2: Education qualification changed (for Statistical investigator Grade 2)
#3: Age limits changed (for some jobs)

24 Feb 2014: This is the Last date to apply. (But keep in mind that part 1 of online application will close @22 Feb 2014)

3 March 2014: This is Last date to apply for people living in faraway areas= Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh,Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad.

#2: Education qualification changed (for Statistical investigator Grade 2)

Following aspirants are eligible to apply for above JOB

Bachelor from any subject from a recognized university/institution. IF he got at least 60% in Mathematics in Class 12
OR

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

#3: Age limits changed (for some jobs)

(new age limit) for General Category

Statistical Investigator Grade-II   32 years
Assistant Enforcement Officer       30 years
Sub Inspector in CBI               20 -30 years

The age relaxation to SC, ST, OBC, PH and other categories has been kept same as earlier system. Meaning
